Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, 2026 — the day after US Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26, 2026). That part is simple: it's a fixed calendar date, the same every year by definition.
What's harder to answer honestly is how deep the discounts will actually go — so here's what we can and can't tell you yet.
What We Can't Tell You Yet
Closetta's tracking data currently covers January through August 2026. We don't have Black Friday 2026 data yet, because it hasn't happened. Any post claiming specific Black Friday discount percentages for brands right now is guessing — we'd rather tell you that plainly than make up numbers.
What We Can Tell You
Here's the average discount depth Closetta has tracked across all monitored brands so far in 2026, month by month:
| Month | Average Discount |
|---|---|
| January | 40% |
| February | 44% |
| March | 46% |
| April | 43% |
| May | 38% |
| June | 46% |
| July | 51% |
| August | 43% |
That's a rough sense of what "a typical month with active sales" looks like in 2026 — averages in the 38–51% range. Black Friday is historically one of the deepest discount events of the year across retail broadly, so it's reasonable to expect depth at or above what we've tracked so far, but we won't put a specific number on it until we've actually measured it.
What to Do Between Now and Then
- Set alerts now, not in November. A Closetta price tracker on specific items means you'll catch the moment a Black Friday discount actually posts, instead of hunting for it manually on the day.
- Watch this space. Closetta tracks daily — as soon as Black Friday 2026 data exists, this post (and /black-friday) will reflect it.
- See last year's pattern. For a look at how Black Friday has historically played out, see our Black Friday Fashion Canada guide.
